David Guetta & Akon go Platinum & Chrome

Although it was on nobody’s Christmas list, the new album of David Guetta and Akon sold over 2million copies at the end of 2009, making it go platinum and chrome over New Year’s night.

Music store workers say it was mostly popular kids who bought the album as a gift for their not so popular friends, often more than one CD.
But has anybody actually listened to the whole album? Our reporters could not find a single person who has, although there were cases in which girls or even boys with a girlish figure received the album from more than one unsympathetic friend, often varying from 10 to 36 (mostly sent via courier).
What will the MTV Music Awards have to say? We’ll just have to wait and see while the record sales jump through the roof.
